Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra’s ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ release date is finally out. The film has been directed by Imtiaz Ali.
Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra’s upcoming film, ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’, directed by Imtiaz Ali, will soon release on Netflix. The film is based on the untold story of Punjab’s original rockstar, the highest record-selling artist of his time, Amar Singh Chamkila. The release date of the film was unveiled with a brand new poster.
Often referred to as the ‘Elvis Presley of Punjab’, Amar Singh Chamkila was a rockstar in true sense, back in the day. Diljit Dosanjh has reprised the late veteran’s role, in a film directed by Imtiaz Ali. The film also stars Parineeti Chopra, who plays as Amarjot, Chamkila’s wife and singing partner. The film will release on April 12 on Netflix.
Parineeti Chopra wished her ‘Chamkila’ co-star Diljit Dosanjh on his 40th birthday with a still from their upcoming film. In the picture, Parineeti can be seen dressed as Amarjot. She plays Diljit’s wife in the film.
