Storyline
Like previous seasons Inside Edge 3 has more to offer than the highs and lows of cricket matches. Inside Edge 3 arms up the drama with higher stakes and rivalries between two powerful people Bhaisahaab and Vikrant Dhawan and their hunger of power. This season takes off from where its predecessor ended with Mumbai Mavericks being banned from playing the Power Play League(PPL) after its owners were revealed to be involved in illegal betting and match fixing. As events unfold, it will become clear whether this power game is bigger than everyone and every relationship.
This 10 episodes sports drama is directed by Kanishk Verma is fast-paced and engaging. The evident resemblance to real-life incidents, whether it is the sentiments of people watching the India-Pakistan match or their curiosity over who will take home the trophy, keeps you captivated. Also, the scenes with cricket are well crafted and genuinely nail-biting, much like the real match. The creator Karan Anshuman has co-written the screenplay with Neeraj Udhwani, and it combines the game of power, politics, greed and revenge while retaining the match-fixing as the core premise of the story.
